To effectively manage both client expectations and the availability of our VAs, Moneypenny has chosen to offer fixed (yet flexible) monthly subscriptions. As a client, you want clarity about your monthly costs and the services you can expect. Our VAs also prefer a certain number of hours they can consistently count on each month. That’s why we work with a minimum number of hours per month – so you know what to expect, and your VA can plan accordingly.
We offer a fixed number of hours per month, also known as Subscription Staffing. Since you’re looking for flexibility (otherwise you would have opted for an employment contract), it’s always possible to purchase additional hours when needed. And if your monthly usage consistently exceeds or falls short of your subscription, you can scale up or down at any time.
How are subscription prices and hourly rates determined?
Each year, we take the pulse of the market to assess current rates for VA services. At the same time, we consider what we need to pay our Moneypenny VAs. We carefully review buying and selling rates to strike the right balance.
As an agency, there is naturally a margin between what we pay the VA and what we charge you. This margin enables us to attract high-quality VAs, provide internal training and upskilling, ensure consistent quality, and maintain strong client relationships through our account managers.
In addition to the hours included in your chosen subscription, you pay a fixed monthly fee. This covers costs such as a business phone number, access to a professional Office365 environment (including email address), and strong security measures on the VA’s laptop. Because these costs are distributed across subscriptions, we can keep them low for each individual client. Of course, you can also choose to give your VA access to a company email address, so they can communicate under your brand.
